Bibliophiles go to Ranchi for the National Book Expo

On Tuesday, the Samay India national book expo in New Delhi saw a dynamic convergence of writers and book fans. More than 80 stalls with a vast assortment of books spanning various subjects were set up on the school site.

Samay Prakashan's kiosk offers a unique platform for new writers to showcase their work.

Those who have not yet published a book might have it printed for Rs 5,000. The 10-day fair will be held till January 7.

Chirag Dubey, a Class 10 student from Marwari+ 2 High School, stated, "The fair has course books and reference books helpful for preparation of board and competitive examinations."

Jharkhand Jharokha booth sells books in all Jharkhand regional languages, including Santhal and Munda. This stand has a large range of books for book enthusiasts who want to explore the state's rich literary terrain. On Friday, renowned litterateur and Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji formally launched the fair.
